On March 25, 2024 a presentation of a new book “About Novitsky was held at the Tomsk Regional Library named after A.S. Pushkin. Sincerely”, dedicated to the rector of SibSMU (1997-2014), a famous Tomsk scientist, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Worker of Science and Culture of the Russian Federation To Vyacheslav Novitsky.
“He could have become an outstanding poet, artist, musician, artist, politician-tribune, but he became what he became – an academician of medicine, a pathophysiologist, an honored scientist, rector, deputy, honorary citizen of his infinitely beloved Tomsk.

The book contains about 50 memoirs of academicians, professors, scientists, heads of universities and enterprises, journalists, cultural figures and politicians about Vyacheslav Viktorovich.
